General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – Taxi Rent

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all rental agreements between Taxi Rent (hereinafter referred to as "Lessor") and the renter (hereinafter referred to as "Customer") concluded via the website or by other means. Taxi Rent is a brand of Executive Limousine GmbH, located at Riedenerstrasse 89, 8304 Wallisellen, Zurich, Switzerland. All services are legally provided by Executive Limousine GmbH.

2. Conclusion of Contract
2.1. A rental agreement is concluded once the customer's reservation via the Taxi Rent contact form is confirmed by the Lessor.
2.2. The customer must reside in Switzerland and possess a valid driver’s license.
2.3. Taxi Rent reserves the right to reject reservations without giving reasons.

3. Rental Period and Return
3.1. The vehicle is provided for the agreed rental period. An extension requires written approval from the Lessor.
3.2. The vehicle must be returned clean and with the same charge level (at least 75% for electric vehicles) or full fuel tank (for combustion engine vehicles).
3.3. If the vehicle is returned more than 30 minutes late, an additional rental day will be charged for every 24 hours started.
3.4. If the vehicle is excessively dirty or requires special cleaning, a fee of up to CHF 300 may be charged.

4. Rental Prices, Deposit and Payment

4.3. The deposit may be used to cover damages, cleaning costs, missing fuel/charge levels, or fines.
4.4. As payments are not processed directly through the website, payment (e.g., via bank transfer or in cash upon vehicle handover) will be arranged individually with the customer. All financial transactions are handled directly with Executive Limousine GmbH.

5. Use of the Vehicle
5.1. The vehicle is intended exclusively for use in ridesharing services (Uber, Bolt, etc.) and may only be used for legal purposes in compliance with traffic laws.
5.2. Ridesharing is permitted if the vehicle is properly rented and the renter fulfills all legal requirements.
5.3. Driving abroad is prohibited without prior written consent from the Lessor.
5.4. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. A special cleaning fee will be charged in case of violations.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.2. Damage to the interior (e.g., burn holes, stains, damaged seats) may be charged up to CHF 1000.
6.3. If the vehicle is impounded by authorities for any reason, a parking fee of up to CHF 100 per day may be incurred.
